Annette Scott of Dix Hills celebrated her 100th birthday at Apex Rehabilitation & Healthcare in South Huntington on Friday, June 7, 2018. Mrs. Scott enjoyed a cake, balloons and well wishes from her son, Paul Scott, her daughter, Diane Scott, along with Apex staff and residents.  Born in Naples, Italy on June 7, 1918, Mrs. Scott emigrated to the United States with her family when she was four. She and her husband raised their children in Mt. Vernon. She moved to Long Island to be with her family after her husband passed away ten years ago. Mrs. Scott has been a resident of Apex since 2013.
