Apex Rehabilitation & Healthcare in South Huntington is looking for volunteers for a wide range of opportunities. Adults and students aged 14 and over are welcome to apply.

With a minimal time commitment, volunteers at Apex can make a difference in the lives of its residents. There are opportunities to work directly with residents, providing companionship, assisting with recreational activities, and providing other non-clinical services. Volunteers may also assist in administrative roles.

Prior to acceptance into the program, volunteers must pass a background check, provide proof of health status, and undergo orientation training.

Attention all Apex residents, families, and visitors: We are proud to announce that, in accordance with the latest guidance from the New York State Department of Health, limited visitation will now be permitted at Apex Rehabilitation & Care Center. As the safety and well being of our residents is our top priority, please carefully review the facility’s Visitation Plan here, and the Visitation Fact-Sheet here. This is to ensure that we can reunite our residents with their loved ones in the safest manner possible. Our PEP can be found here. We understand that you may have questions about this ongoing situation, as well as about other methods of contacting your loved ones. As such, we have set up a dedicated email address at covid19@apexrehabcare.com to address your questions or concerns. We appreciate your ongoing support in this matter, and look forward to welcoming you back to Apex.
